It is with great pleasure that we announce the sixth volume of the Musica Revelata series, which contains an edition of a valuable monument of Polish Enlightenment music: a cantata by Maciej Kamieński with words by Adam Naruszewicz. The work was composed at the request of King Stanisław August Poniatowski on the occasion of the unveiling of the monument to Jan III Sobieski in the Royal Łazienki in September 1788.
The editor of the volume is Michał Jagosz, a graduate of the Institute of Musicology at the University of Warsaw and a participant in the Doctoral School of Humanities at the same university.
